Congratulations to Nathan L. on his achievements at the Ontario Music Festival Provincial Competition! He was able to get into the playoff and ended up in top 6 out of 31 contestants. He got highly praised by the adjudicator for his playing of Bach Prelude & Fugue and got an Honourable Mention in Diploma Level Piano. His teacher Lilian Ng and everyone at Pro-Music is very proud.

At Pro-Music, we are proud to team up with a local Markham charity Autism In Mind (AIM) Children's Charity to raise fund to support their programs that provide valuable services to children living with autism. For just $16 a ticket, you get to support your Pro-Music teachers in this worthy cause and also make a difference to the life of children living with autism.

Dimitar Pentchev is a teacher at Pro-Music teaching students of all levels.  Furthermore, Mr. Pentchev is an award-winning pianist and composer and has had a successful career in performing, teaching and composing for over 20 years.

June 10th, 11th, and 13th is the world premiere of Dimitar's newest multimedia piece, Gleams.  

Gleams is a combination of his own music (played live on piano), his own poetry in a script that features two amazing actors, a dancer and visuals (video projection).

The event will take place at Array Music in Toronto.

Yip’s Music Festival Awards – Nathan L.

Congratulations to Nathan L. on his outstanding achievements at the Yip's Music Festival! Nathan received several awards including the Best of Bach and the Best of Chopin, in addition to 3 first place awards. Furthermore, Nathan has been nominated to participate at the Provincial Competition. Nathan studies with Lilian Ng. We wish him the best of luck! Here is a charming photo of Nathan with his trophies and cups!

Elizabeth H. was accepted to York Region Enrichment Band for Grade 7 & 8. She plays the clarinet and studies with Daniel Smith.
Hinners L. was accepted to University of Toronto and McMaster University, majoring in music education, and piano. He was offered a scholarship of $1600 from McMaster University. Hinners studies piano with Ilia Shekhtihin and cello with Bill Wong.
