Pro-Music offers drum lessons in one on one basis. Each of our drum studios is equipped with 2 sets of drums. Our professional
instructors prepare students for proper drumming techniques and notes reading.
DRUMS DEPARTMENT
York received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree specializing in Drumkit Performance from the York University where he studied intensively with Barry Romberg in Jazz Performance. Additionally, under the direction of Rick Lazar, he gained extensive knowledge and experience in a large variety of genres such as Brazilian and Afro-Cuban, in addition to Pop and Rock.
As a teacher, York strives to help students build a strong musical foundation in which they can confidently apply to any genre. He values students’ musical interests, but also inspires them to widen their horizons, and helps them develop their own sense of musicality and style.
In addition to teaching, York is actively performing across the GTA and is truly passionate about his music.

Joining us all the way from India, Jude has represented Yamaha Music India as a Drum Demonstrator and Music Educator since 2011, and has conducted numerous Music Education Workshops in National and International schools to establish music education all over the country.
He conducted Drum Demonstrations, Workshops, and Performances with Yamaha Music India on various venues in the country educating people musically, and has been featured in videos for their official website and YouTube Channel promoting the DTX drums.
Jude also created and developed the Yamaha DTXM12 Drum Pad Kits that is used by musicians in India and all over the world.
He pursued his music education from the Trinity College London with distinction. With over 15 years of experience in music education, he specializes in teaching kids from age 5 to 15, and has also taught teenagers and adults till age 75, and also partnered with non-profit organizations in providing free music education to the underprivileged kids.
His class structure is a mix of stage performance, music theory, fun, techniques, jamming with other instruments, and musical communication with deep study of his students’ favourite songs.
Jude instills confidence in his students to not only play in a room but also perform with the band on the stage and be a rock star.
